Take Action to Put Drinking Water in Your School's Wellness Policy

The USDA recently released its final rule on school wellness policies. All schools participating in the National School Lunch Program will need to have a stronger wellness policy put in place by June 30, 2017.
Now is a great opportunity for schools to incorporate drinking water quality, access and promotion when writing or revising their local School Wellness Policy. Go to Take Action for resources for developing a School Wellness Policy that includes strong language on drinking water.
