WIIN Grants Rolling Out to Reduce Lead in School Drinking Water
The Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation (WIIN) Act, signed into law in 2016, included funding to reduce lead exposure in school drinking water. On October 23, 2020, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced the first round of grantees for a total of nearly $40 million.
